news

at long last…re-construction of stockwell road is now complete!

The four mile, east-west route on the northern portion of Greenwood and Hayes townships has been converted to a completely paved, Class A throughway, all the way from Business 27 to Old State Ave.

It’s finally the nice ‘n smooth blacktop, with white ‘n yellow stripes…like everyone has wanted for years.

This +$1M project was initiated and equally funded in collaboration with Hayes Township, Summerfield Township, and the Clare County Road Commission.

Safe travels!
